I'd like to upgrade my company release line router WRT54GS v3 to WRT, but it always show upgrade fails after I follow all the steps I found in this forum, dd-wrt or internet. At first, I suspect the firmware version is too old on my router, so I go to linksysbycisco.com to get the latest one, but it also fail when I used it, I wonder why the official firmware also can’t upgrade my router ? Is it possible my ISP hard code her unique firmware in nvram to prevent we install 3rd firmware ? If so, Can anyone tell me what can I do ? Thanks

Which dd-wrt package did you use for flashing? Did you notice Aditional information about flashing of dd-wrt? First you have to use Mini Generic package and then flash it with other package.
Does your router contains some special firmware from your ISP?
