    Hi all...

I bought 2 WRT54GS routers on Sunday with the intention of bridging them so I could hook my Tivo to the client router. However, only AFTER I open the box do I realize that one of them is the new v. 1.1 (with the "Linksys Easy Toolkit/Secure EZ Setup". didn't notice it on the box). Therefore I was only able to get Satori on the 1.0.

The question from here.... do you think there will be a new firmware for the 1.1 version soon so I can complete the bridge (please let me know if there are other options too) or should I just take it back (with the possible restocking fee) and exchange for a 1.0 version?

Thanks for your help in advance...

    network bridging

    hello All,

i need help for bridging my wired lan with a new one. The location for the new lan is about 6oo feet away, in a separate building ,the question is: what do i need: a couple of Access Point or a couple of bridges. also, i would like to know if i need a antenna for the AP´s or bridges and what kind.

thanks in advance for the help.
