hi. I'm new to the whole router firmware scene.... and i was wondering if i could use my WRT54GS v1.1 as a wireless access point. see.. heres my situation... i have a DSL modem that also acts as a wireless router and.. its upstairs... i have my wrt54gs downstairs... and i want my wired comps downstairs to be able to connect to the internet wirelessly through my WRT54gs... i would run a cable to both the dsl modem and the wrt54gs.. but my mom wont let me.. she doesnt want me having internet access in the basement... so.... i was wondering if there was any firmware that would let my wrt54gs work as a wireless access point. and... i also have another question... what is client mode? is that a wireless access point mode?
