WRT54GS v1.1 corrupts packets? World of Warcraft

A bunch of World of Warcraft players have been upset that the WRT54GS v1.1 doesn't work for them. The problem has been narrowed down to just this minor revision of the router and seems independent of wired/wireless, firmware version, etc.

I had this problem myself and ran a packet sniffer, found evidence that the WRT54GS v1.1 is corrupting the data on incoming TCP packets some tiny fraction of the time. I'm not positive this is truly the problem, but it was enough for me to replace it with a WRT54G v2.2 which seems to be working better. No corruption.

If this is correct, then I'd think this problem would show up as bad lag or stalled connections on any long lived TCP stream. Is this a known problem?

    Details here, see post 199

PS: if you're a linksys tech, I'd be happy to share the packet capture with you to help debug the problem.
