    Hi all,

As the subject indicates. Aside from the Cisco button (and I have no idea what it does, but I've seen it go white when I first start the router), what is the difference between the v.1.1 (serial CGN2xxx) and v2.0 (CGN3xxx) WRT54GS Linksys routers?

I have the choice of one of the two. Which one should I pick? I'm asking this since the autopsy page says the best speedbooster router is the WRT54GS v1.1 and I'd like to know why.

    Thanks!

You are probably talking about v3, my v2 does not have a cisco button.

I think what he means by the "button" is the Cisco logo that changes color depending on the state of the router.

i'm just reading what it says on my router and it says v.2 and that's the serial number. Remember, I'm talking SPEEDBOOSTER routers here, not the regular ones.
