I have the WRT54GS v2.2 .... will the newest releast of HyperWRT work with the v2.2 GS router?

Sveasoft does not have a version that works with the WRT54GS v2.2, and all I'm really looking for is the signal boost. I'd love to try out HyperWRT if someone can verify it will work on the 54GS v2.2

    Thanks!

    Sorry.. My bad...

I was looking at the 22 at the end of my FCC ID on the bottom of the router... God I need glasses....

    I have a WRT54GS v1.1....

HyperWRT should work with this version correct?

    Thanks again,

    Tony

Indeed, it works fine with WRT54G v2.2 and WRT54GS v1.1

How do you tell if it is a 1.0 or a 1.1? I looked on the stickers on the bottom and couldn't find it.

    If it just says WRT54GS, it's a 1.0, if it says WRT54GS v1.1 it's a 1.1 ;)

    Works Great!

Well, just installed HyperWRT last night and it works great!

At the default 50% power boost, I didn't notice much of an increase in range, however after bumping up to 100% my signal at the farthest point in my house went from "low" to "VeryGood" or Excellent..... way cool...

The router gets warmer than it used to, but by no means hot.... only a few degrees over what it used to be like

    Thanks!
