    i have been looking into useing my wrt510gs V2 as an router in front of my alcatel 510 adsl modem.

    my problem is that i really don't know how to get the router to logon onto the dutch xs4all ADSL network:

    [computers] <---> [wrt54gs]-----[Alcatel speedtouch home] <<==> internet

    @the moment there is the original firmware into my router. are there any working alternatives for this? really don't know and can't find any other firmwareinfo how to fix this!

    any suggestions are greatly appriciated!

    So what I'm guessing is that you need the router to tell the modem to connect with blah username/password ??

    It may also help if you tell us how you connected to the Internet via the modem before you added the router, e.g., were you using a PPPoE dialler on your computer to connect?
