I'm new here. Please forgive me if my question sounds too stupid to you.

I just purchased a Pinnacle Showcenter 1000g and would like connect it to my PC. My PC, DSL and Netgear WGR614 is in another room. The Showcenter comes with a 802.11g PC card, but the reception for it is not acceptable. Therefore, I bought a Linksys WRT54GS v3 and flashed it to HyperWRT firmware and thinking using it as a bridge or whatever device to improve the reception.

    My setup:
Room 1: DSL modem, PC and Netfear WDR614 802.11g wireless router
Room 2: Linksys WRT54GS v3 and Pinnacle Showcenter. I'll connect the Showcenter with WRT54GS with CAT5 cable, not wireless.

    My question:
What's the best solutions? I just want to get Showcenter connected to PC wirelessly with the best connection speed (watch video).

Could you please tell the steps as detail as possible
