I have 2 WRT54GS and want to use one with an Xbox and PS2 in one room and the other as the main router connected to my westell 6100 DSL Modem (Verizon). I also have a 2nd Xbox that will just use the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Adpter (MN-740).

I tried using shah's setup guide from the home page and have yet to get it to work.

The main WRT (#1) is using Linksys firmware v1.05.2

The client WRT (#2) is using dd-wrt v23 (mini)

How can I make this work?

Note--- the MN-740 connects fine wirelessly the issue here is the 2 WRTs... Please help

Start by configuring WRT#2 with a different LAN IP address from WRT#1. (For example configure WRT#2 to use 192.168.1.2)

Then on the Wireless tab of WRT#2 simiply set it to Client Bridge mode & then configure WRT#2 with the same SSID & wireless security settings as WRT#1. At that point you should be good to go.

Note that Client Bridge mode does not seem to support WPA2.
