WRT54GS v4 is not keeping time and date

My WRT54GS v4 is not keeping the correct time and date after rebooting. It starts with January 1, 1970 0:00 am. The ntp client doesn't work neither. It has DD-wrt 24 SP1 and lately started to become inaccessible 1 day after rebooting it. Now is not keeping time as well.

Is it dying? does it have any battery for the CMOS that may need replacement? TIA for your help.

These routers have no CMOS real-time clock and battery, so nothing to replace, they rely on the ntpclient updating the time when connected to the internet and will default to whatever time that is programmed when restarted.
