    Hi all,
I am having a connection dropping problem with the above router.
I have tried the following at Linksys suggestion.
    Reloaded the firmware.
Reset the RTS threshold value to 2304
Reset the fragmentation threshold value to 2304
Reset the beacon interval value to 50
I was told to reduce the MTU setting by 10 until the connection stabilises I went as low as 1330 and the connection still dropped with lower values. ( 1450 is the recommended MTU by Telewest, the cable modem is a Motorola SB101E.
The router is used with a desktop pc and two notebooks connect wirelessly to the router. The notebooks both have Celeron processors and the connection drops on all three pc’s. The connection does not resume until I reboot the router.
I am beginning to think the router is faulty, although I hope not. Help would be much appreciated.

If you plug a device into it directly (ie not wireless but using a CAT5 cable), do you have internet access when the wireless clients do not?

    What firmware are you running?
