In order to start my XPS720 Dell I must reboot router first. Also I'm loosing Internet connections sometimes starting with my hotmail, then Teamspeak, then whatever game I'm in. I'm not a kid (62) just a kid at heart.

Is there a patch for the fix or should I try looking for another router?

What happens to the Dell when it "refuses to start".
If it hangs, where, if there's a message, please elaborate, etc, etc.

It goes to the first Dell logo screen then goes black. No message. I have to power down then reboot router then hit computer start button and I'm good to go.

I have a feeling it might be because of a Windows Update that was installed. Trouble is I dont know which one or when installed.

I would uninstall the network adapter driver, and, if the start-up then is OK, look for an updated wireless driver for the Dell's network adapter, and also how your network is set up on that adapter; i.e. have you got a "QoS" type driver on the network adapter, or any funnies like that. If you find such funnies, remove them.
