Wrt54GS with PPPOA

    Is it possible via a firmware upgrade of some other means to enable the WRT54GS to use an encapsulation type of PPPOA, as this is required by my ISP, or is this a limitation of the hardware.

    I am currently using PPPOA through my ADSL modem(Dlink 300-T) but due to packets being dropped want to set the modem to bridge mode and use the WRT to authenticate ect..

    You cannot have PPPoA (PPP over ATM) on WRT just because there is no ATM interface on it.
    If you have to use PPPoA then your DSL modem is the only device capable to do it.
