    Hy Guys

I bougth a wrt54gs a few days ago but had no chance to buy a ehrtnet mothem to connect to the internet.
Is it possible to have a internet connection on a computer and have it share to the router so all computers can use the net?

Possible, Yes. but it defeats 90% of why you purchase a router. Instead you could have got a simple 5 port switch.

I am guessing your computer has an internal modem that is connection to DSL or Cable?

local telco here gives out speedstream modems and I hear lots of places use those so their probably good, you may want to call your telco they may switch your modem up for one with an ethernet port for free if you tell them you got a router...

most things like that won't break if you just drop them, thats not exactly the most important factor your looking for in a cablemodem, however he said he's using DSL so a sb5100 won't do him a lick of good.
