    Here goes:

    WRT54GSv1.0 @ Firmware Version: v3.37.6 - HyperWRT 2.1b1 using 5.5dBi-gain antennas (360deg horizontal transmission pattern, 50deg vertical transmission pattern; Frequency Range: 2400-2485MHz, VSWR 1.5:1, Impedence: 50ohms, Input Power: 10W)
    WMP54GSv1.0 @ Driver Version: EU
    WPC54GSv1.0 @ Driver Version: EU

Note: Both NICs using Linksys Wireless Networking Monitor v4.0

WMP54GSv1.0 (0 walls and less than 2m away, directly beneath the router)
    reported Noise Level: -88dBm
    reported Signal Strength: -53dBm

WPC54v1.0 (about 2 walls and 15m away, directly ahead of the router)
    reported Noise Level: -88dBm
    reported Signal Strength: -72dBm

How do these (noise and signal) specs look to you? BTW, I realize that placing the WMP54GS beneath the WRT54GS is NOT a good idea and might be causing some problems. Any quick solutions assuming I can't change the location of either piece of hardware?

PS - I've got an RMA on this (v1.0) particular GS router (the new one should be v2.2 of the WRT54GS - so says Linksys - and will be in next week) as it has been giving me all types of problems (vide my other posts).
