    Hi all,

After upgrading the firmware to Thibor 15c, my speedbooster didn't function anymore. The Wireless Network is found, i get an ip-adres from the router, but there is no communication possible. (for example the management console of the WRT, browsing is not possible at all). At a certain moment my wired connections didn.t function at all, so i decided to downgrade to Thibor 14, hoping to solve all this. But, Speedbooster still doesn't function with speedbooster enabled. By the way: the network card is a WPC54GS V1.2 with the latest drivers from Linksys, and is working with other non-linksys router (e.g. i've tested with an us robotics and an netgear 624 router).

The Wireless connection now works with speedbooster disabled, but I like it enabled (that's why I bought this router).

    The upgrade went like this:
Hyperwrt + Thibor 14 (Cleared NVRAM before upgrade) -> Firmware upgrade to Thibor 15c -> Cleared NVRAM again after upgrade. I've used the same method to downgrade the router to Thibor 14.

    Some additional info:
    nvram get boardflags: 0x2758

    wl revinfo:
    vendorid: 0x14e4
    deviceid: 0x4320
    radiorev: 0x22050000
    chipnum: 0x5352
    chiprev: 0x0
    corerev: 0x9
    boardid: 0x467
    boardvendor: 0x14e4
    boardrev: 0x10
    driverrev: 0x35a2500
    ucoderev: 0x1220099
    bus: 0x0

    System Type: Broadcom BCM947XX
    Processor: 0
    CPUmodel: BCM3302 V0.8

I hope you can all make some sense about this (my english is not too well :S, though i'm working on it).

    Enable telnet on the router.

    then do

    nvram set wl_afterburner=on;nvram set afterburner_override=1;nvram commit;reboot

this should make sure Afterburner is enabled for sure.

you may need to reset the router as wll upgrading from 14 to 15c since there are many changes

Ok, i've done that (on Thibor 14 still). Now there is no communication possible over wireless. I still get an ip-adres, but that's about it. wl afterburner is set to 1 now.

The problem is not that the router doesn't enable the settings, but after enabling the afterburner there is no communication possible..

I did a full reset of the router (clear nvram and by pushing the reset button) last night, but there is no change.

can you confirm the WPC54GS driver advanced settings have Afterburner set to Enable?

The WPC54GS afterburner is set to enabled (I justed tested with the WRT54GS from my neighbour to make sure)

I was having this problem as well, thibor was unable to fix it, and insisted that it must be my WRT54Gv4 :-\ I still think there is something we are overlooking.

P.S. how do you enable telenet.

goto your administration page of the router. it is there. (thibor15c)

    Something similar here.

When you turn of speedbooster in the configuration screen of your pcmcia wpc54gs card, everything is working again. Ofcourse without speedbooster :-(
