Hi, This is my first post so hello everyone :)

I own both the routers above. Me and a neighbour want to try and bridge his network to my router (any of the 2 linksys ones i have above). His router is a BTHomeHube with WEP encryption and I have been reading up on the subject for several days now.

Basically I dont mind which router I use for the job, as long as i can get firmware on it that supports client mode for the wireless network bridge but after plenty of searches I am having trouble finding firmware for my router versions.

Which router should I use and is there some firmware that supports these versions, as at the moment I am having no luck whatsoever in finding any. Someone pointed me in the way of DD-WRT v23 SP2 and said that this will work on the WRT54Gv5 but I thought I would ask here before I give it a try.

Does anyone have any suggestions or can point me in the right direction of supported firmware? Which router would you suggest I use?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Suphix :)
