    Hi all,

    I'm new, so treat me like an idiot :biggrin:
    I'm wondering if such a thing is possible as explained below:

    [SBG900]===[WRT54G] (NAT/DHCP)
    (cable 192.168.1.1
    modem)

    [PC]=====[ ]
    [XBOX]===[ SLM2008 ]====[WAP54G](static @ 192.168.1.245)
    [ETC]====[ LS switch]

    I have the latest firmwares from the australian linksys website installed on the WRT54Gv7 and WAP54Gv3.

    Is it possible to connect the WAP54G wirelessly to the WRT54G? (either as a wireless AP client or as a wireless bridge)?

    What is the best way to get this working such that the PC/XBOX can obtain an IP from the WRT54G DHCP? Indeed, is it possible?! If this isn't possible what equipment will I need??

    If it is possible will it work with WPA-TKIP security? Has anyone managed to get a situation like this working?

    Many Thanks,

    Stu.
