    hi all,

i have just purchased a WRT54GX with firmware v2.00.08, and it seems like it's not possible to set the dhcp server to always assign a specific ip to a particular mac address?? i've looked through all the pages w/o luck, but i can't believe it's not possible, after all every cheapass router ive seen has it and w/o it the whole port forwarding thing gets kindof useless??

for various reasons i can't really set the ipaddress manually on my pc, so please tell me i'm overlooking something here??

There is no manual mapping of MAC address to IP Address for the WRT54GX v2.0. It is usually available on third party firmware and to date there is none. Why can you not set the IP Address of your wireless NIC manualy? Not every router has that feature.
