I have a issue i need help with.
I want to use my wrt54gx as a AP and nothing els.

my current network looks like this.

    DSL Modem - RV042(dhcp server) - WRT54GX(dhcp server) - computers
    DSL Modem - RV042(dhcp server) - computer

I would like to skip the WRT54GX dhcp server, so that the RV042 router is the only router that gives out ip.
I have not found any way to get this to work. I have googled but not found anything that can help me.

I've been using a WRT54GX v2 as an access point only with WRT54GS for about the past three years. Turn off the dhcp server on the WRT54GX v2. Run ethernet cable from a lan port of your RV042 to a lan port on the WRT54GX v2. You also may need to change the WRT54GX v2 from being a router to a gateway.
