WRT54GX v2 wireless connection failures...

I bought a WRT54GX v2 4 weeks ago. Around 2 weeks ago I did a firmware upgrade to it and brought it to the latest version (008).

Since last week it had been frustrating me by continuous dropping its connection with the wireless clients. This includes b, g and g SRX clients. The wireless clients can see the AP with good signal but when I ask to connect it says unable to connect.

I have WPA enabled with SHA and this worked fine for 3 weeks with my three clients (2 XP and one windows 2000). Nothing has changed except for the firware and even that worked fine for a week before WIFI started giving problems. Wired connections work fine.

Is it the radio part that is broken? Is this an issue with the firmware? I tried a factory reset and that doesnt fix the issue. When i do a reboot of the AP the problem persists. I have moved the AP around the house yet placement does not seem to be the problem.

Please let me know what I should do so i can resolve this issue. I bought linksys for its relaibilty and didnt expect it to break in 3 weeks. I had a 3com before and that has worked flawlessly for 3 years.

Anyone else experienced the same problems?
