WRT54GX2 may be aggravating my latent drinking problem. . .

I've had a number of wireless routers over the last couple of years. I've tried to upgrade regularly as the technology supposedly gets better. I had a Linksys wired router awhile back, and liked it for its flexible, friendly user interface.

After making the rounds, with Buffalo, SBC, D-link, I decided to try the latest Linksys MIMO wireless, and IT IS DRIVING ME NUTS!

Should I think about taking a step back to a G or GS? Connectivity issues with the X2 are incredible. The wireless light will intermittently go out. I'll loose internet connectivity on both the wired and wireless sides for no discoverable reason. :drinking:

And there doesn't seem to be a Linksys fix in the wings . . .

Anybody here got a take on this?

I tried Linksys service. They're awfully nice, but not really much help.
