WRT54GX4 bridging with WAP54G

    Hi everyone,
I have what I think is a pretty straight forward question. I currently have a WAP54G that used to bridge to my WRT54G router. When I replaced my WRT54G with the WRT54GX4 router, the bridging stopped working. I tried to load sveasoft code, linksys code, etc but to no avail.

Does anyone have a working configuration for briding between the WAP54G and a WRT54GX4 they can share?

    Thanks!

The WRT54GX4 does not support bridging or repeating. None of the GX series is suppose to as reported by Tomsnetworking. The only devices that will bridge is the WET54G or the WET54GS5.

My experience is that there are many others that support bridging. WRT54GX4 doesn't really need to do anything special for the WAP54G, it can treat it as a client. The WAP54G needs to then bridge that wireless connection to the Eth0 interface. This was what I was doing with the WRT54G using Sveasoft code.

    Anyone have experience with this?
