Gurus, I have a situation. I have my WRT54GXv2 setup using WPA/WPA2 - AES and it is working perfectly with my laptops. However, I just bought a WM5 device but it apparently only supports WPA/TKIP. I am very hesitant on switching the encryption to TKIP only from AES. However, selecting AES/TKIP seems to have no effect (ie, WM5 will not connect). Seems the only way that WM5 will connect is WPA/TKIP on the router. Is it possible to set the WRT54GXv2 to accept WPA2/AES and WPA/TKIP? What exactly does the setting AES+TKIP mean? I thought it was supposed to accept EITHER AES or TKIP on the connection but it is not the case. When set to AES+TKIP, WM5 does not connect, neither does the laptops when set to WPA2/TKIP. Please help!
