I am having a problem with connecting with my Linksys router. I have been using the flashed firmware for years (v 3.018sv) with no problems at all. I have since tried connecting to a different computer (both running Windows 7) to no avail. The remote computer gives me an error message stating that the security code is incorrect. I have not changed the code since day one.

When I go to the web interface, there is no way to change the encryption (currently WEP) or the password on the router. If you can help or steer me to a forum it would be much appreciated!!!

Did you try hard-resetting the router? (hold the button on the back for 30 seconds)

I actually had to hold it down for almost two minutes but all is well now. Thanks!
