WRT600N Network Dropouts

I've got a WRT600N using WPA-2 Personal on the 5Ghz channel. Whenever I try to upload something from my machine to a NAS attached by ethernet to the device I lose the wireless connection. This doesn't happen if I turn encryption off, or if I'm uploading to something on the Net, only a device connected via ethernet. It doesn't matter whether I use zero config or Intel Proset. The same problem happens with every variation of WPA. It's fine if I connect to the 2.4Ghz channel.

I've upgraded to the lastest firmware for the router and NAS as well as the latest driver for the intel wireless card. I'm using all the default settings on all the devices.

Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening with WPA, other settings I could try, anything that might help.

I have the WRT600N Ver. 1.0 and it had been fine till I upgraded to the latest 1.0.36 Ver 3 firmware after I upgraded I started loosing all my wireless connections every 24 hours, I decided to try the DD-WRT_v24_mega_generic firmware and after installing this firmware I have had zero problems with my connections, granted the 5ghz channel only allows 130Mbps speed and the power led flashes all the time but the connections are solid without any drop outs, so I am not going back to linksys firmware for a while and only if I know for a fact that the firmware actually works.
