I have been trying to reset my router for days now trying to restore the default settings back to it. I have tried every method I know such as: 1.) Hold down the reset button for 30 seconds and release. 2.) Hold down reset button for 30 seconds, unplug power for 5 seconds while still holding the reset button, then plug it back in and release. 3.) Hold reset button for 30 seconds, then unplug power for 30 more seconds while holding the reset button, then plug the power back in and release. All of these methods don't seem to work. I have a suspicion that there was something put on my router that disabled the reset button. I know there has to be a way to disable it because I know the router is physically working. The main reason Im doing this is to access my router's configuration page in order to change a port setting that is blocking all ports 100-65000. You can imagine how frustrating this is. If this doesn't work, is there a way I can open up those ports without going through the router to do it? The default userID/Password Im using is admin/admin.
