Do I have to upgrade ?

I have WRTP54G with firmware 3.1.1.7 and I unlocked long time back, recently I'm seeing my router suddenly rebooting quite often. Do I have to upgrade to a new firmware or something. Linksys does not provide a firmware for this one.

    thanks

Sorry for digging up old thread, but it is a little known fact that if the WRTP54G rebooting frequently, it is VERY likely the power supply adapter is dying. The WRTP54G needs, AT A MINIMUM, 0.5A @ 12v. My router came supplied with the AD12V/0.5A-SW power adapter. When I put my multimeter on the Linksys adapter, it was only reading 0.4A! I happened to have a 12v power supply that puts out a full 1A @ 12v WITH center pin positive. Plugged in and voila! Rock solid ever since. Hope this helps others with the endless reboot problem!
