    i have a few questions.

first, what is cts protection. will it help me to turn it on if my connection is poor?

also, i find that if i use 54g, itll constantly be fluctuating speed between 1 and 54 and itll choke and die often. if i run 11b, itll be flawless.

my belkin 54g and microsoft 54g ran flawless 54g on the same channel so i dont get what's going on

CTS protection allow the router to work with both 802.11G and 802.11B clients, with a lost of throughput on the 802.11G clints, if a 802.11B client is present. There has been sone fixes for large file downloads in the latest firmware, but I do not know, if that fix will help you.

Out of curiosity, are you using a Intel 2200BG wireless adapter?
