    Hello All!

I'm looking into purchasing the above unit. Want to know anyone use them and your experiences? Not sure if that is the right model. The one I had my eye on is the one that is wireless/phone/wired.

Next, I'm running Clarkconnect v3.1, I'd have to place it in my lan side. Assuming this will affect the QOS on the device.

    Thx.

    This is the wrtp54g.

Second... I see all these custom firmwares out. What the factory built firmware is enough or do they provide more options?

    custom firmware?

K, which one is the best one? I used to work w/ a company the guy used to write his own code & upload them to the routers. It did something to help the wireless work better.

as for firmware for the deivce there is none. the firmware out for the WRT54G is only for the WRT54G. i would not mix and match. you could brick the rouer flashing with firmware that does not belong to it.
