I have a large house that is three stories high and made of concert and brick. I ran Ethernet cable to key points in the house and installed WiFi access devices in each location so that we had a strong signal over the entire area of the house. I am using Linksys WRT routers that are running Tomato Firmware v1.28.7633 .3-Toastman-IPT-ND ND Std - Linux kernel 184.108.40.206 and Broadcom Wireless Driver 220.127.116.11 updates. I turned off DNS on all but the main router and I disabled the WAN ports and use them as a LAN ports on all but the router. All devices use the same SSID but use separate channels and the same WPA2 Personal AES password for security. My question is, do I need to disable anything else on each of the devices I use as AP's or is it ok as long as I just disable DNS? Thanks for any help you can provide.
