WRTSL54GS "All_Partitions" share access?

I'm trying to access the "All_Partitions" share from a Windows XP machine and it won't accept the user "admin" username and password? I went and set the user "admin" password to "admin" just in case it wasn 't (???) but no joy. I can add the user "guest" to the share access for that partition and can then get to it fine with no user/pass login needed. From searching here I see that most folks turn it off and I'll probably do that eventually but just want to find out what's wrong first.

    Thanks,
    Ron

I take it you have the "admin" account account set for read/write access in the Share Access area of all partitions?

    Nope same on both.

<Some time later> Just checked again, now it works with my admin/admin logon!
      :flabbergasted:

I turned on uPNP 20 minutes ago and XP just popped up a "new uPNP device found" message here so I thought I'd try it again . Weird!

    Thanks,
    Ron
