WRTSL54GS Support?

I was wondering if there are any plans for supporting the WRTSL54GS. I imagine the extra memory/flash could be useful even if the USB port is unsupported in Tomato.

Not being particularly familiar with the actual process of supporting multiple devices I don't know if this is just a minor tweak one might expect early in the development process, or a real headache to be tackled once major development is done to avoid alot of extra support work.

I have to say that I would love to try Tomato. It would need to support the USB at least for my WRTSL54GS for me to give it a go.

Being able to use Tomato on WRTSL54GS would be great!

    I agree. I'm wicked jealous.

But, grcore6 fixed some of the issues I had with Thibor 15c.

what about support for other brands such as Buffalo, Asus, etc.? DD-WRT seems to have figured out the tricks to make these other router brands work. This would be very desirable as it's becoming harder and harder to find used pre v4 Linksys routers. I know there's always the GL but Linksys likes to charge 50% more for it than for example a Buffalo WHR-54GS (which in my opinion is a much nicer router anyway).

thank you and sorry to be slightly off topic here.

Some of them are probably easier to support then the SL. The "big" issue with supporting the SL is the USB, mounting filesystems, sharing files over CIFS/NFS/UPNP raw printing etc.

The sources are available from Linksys for the SL, in fact they just released new updated code last week.

I would love to see support for the SL. Even if USB is not supported the stability that i've been hearing about will be much welcomed. I am currently a very unhappy DD-WRT user so i'll pretty much take stability over features anyday!

I would also like the support for the SL.
