    Thibor,

    Are there plans to add other DDNS providers, specifically ZoneEdit, to your firmware for the WRTSL54GS?

    Is there a way for me to add it in manually?

    I had it on my WRT54G runninf thibor 14 and I miss it on my WRTSL54GS and I would prefer not to have to switch DDNS providers.

    Thanks,

    Dan

    haven't touched the DDNS on the SL apart from jchuit's change. i thought to be honest, that ZoneEdit would already be there, since it's a part of the GS codebase. adding it won't be too difficult

    You can create your own conf file, save it in nvram, and have it load at startup.
    Example:
    Create your config in nvram (dyndns used as example)

    nvram set dyn-update="#!/usr/sbin/ez-ipupdate -c
    service-type=dyndns
    user=username:password
    host=mydomain.dyndns.com
    interface=vlan1
    max-interval=86400
    pid-file=/tmp/dyn-update.pid
    cache-file=/tmp/dyn-update.cache
    daemon"

    Then have this nvram var loaded into a file and ran at startup:
    nvram set startup_script="sleep 10
    nvram get dyn-update > /tmp/dyn-update.conf
    chmod 700 /tmp/dyn-update.conf
    /tmp/dyn-update.conf"

    And save permanently with:

    nvram commit

    read up on ZoneEdits needs for ez-ipupdate and make the necessary changes for your config...
