I have a WRTSL54GS flashed to Thibor15c and upnp doesn't stay up. After a reboot, it appears to run for a while, but then it stops working. I have re-flashed the router, cleared NVRAM to factory default, re-entered all my settings, and no joy. I flashed back to stock firmware, flashed Thibor, and cleared NVRAM, and still no joy. I have wireless security set to WPA personal, have a couple of static dhcp entries, have two ports redirected and one port forwareded. I have logging sent to Wall Watcher on a wired XP SP2 desktop. I also have ssh enabled, and when i check the processes running right after a boot, upnp is there. after upnp stops working, the process is no longer there. I only use upnp software occasionally, so it took me a while to notice. i can't narrow down when upnp stops, but it appears to be running for some significant amount of time. btw -- i notice upnp stops by looking for the Internet Gateway in Network Connections, or when whatever i'm try to do won't work properly.

The latest linksys firmware (2.06.0) for the SL has upnp fixes.

Thanks, I'll wait (anxiously) for the new Thibor firmware ...

I'm having the exact same trouble with uPnP in Thibor 15c. It appears to work, but some time later, hours, days, it no longer is there (icon for gateway disappears and uPnP doesn't work) I disable uPnP in the router and re-enable, and it comes back, or rebooting the router usually makes it come back. Any ideas appreciated.

disabling your network connection and then re-enabling it will also bring it back. it's a windows problem, not the router.

No, it's the router. I have the same problem.
