WRV200 and syslog

I got a new WRV200 the other day and finally got around to putting it in. Only trouble so far that I am having is that syslog is not working. I have enabled syslog, ran the logviewer and see this on the syslog host:

    LogViewer.exe 3188 Console 0 816 K

    UDP *:* 3188

I have all the log events turned on, the MAC of the host running the logviewer has a resereved IP in the router and verified that it is right to what I placed in the config. Next thing I am going to try is run TCPDUMP and see I see any UDP on that port. Am I missing something else? Oh and I have disabled all personal firewalls on the host accepting the logs.

I have done a search on here and have seen issues with corrupt when using wireless and also seen some people not getting it to work. I am not seeing anything. If someone has any ideas could you send them my way?

Well, it is certainly something on the syslog host that it did not like. Placed the logviewer in a VM and she worked like a charm. So sorry for the dead thread. Thanks

Well I spoke to soon. Looks like you can never get the time to reflect right. I got the syslog working but it will not sync the correct time with ntp or manual. Anyone else have that trouble?
