    Ok

So i have factory reset the router and reinstalled my d-link wireless card software. I still cannot http://192.168.1.1 as I get a 404 error. I do have an ip address as i can go online (for example to this website). I have reset the admin password for the web access and have it written down, as i also have reset my tkip password and have it working- i would imagine since i'm online. I am trying to access the router via web interface so i can setup some nat stuff for azureus but am unsuccessful in connecting to that interface.. thanks in advance for any ideas/suggestions!

Pull "all" of your cables out of the router (including the power cable) and leave it unplugged for about 3 mins. After that, plug "only" the power cable back in first; as soon as you see the wireless light blinking, then plug the rest of the cables back in. I took me a minute to figure out this pattern. :) This is still a flaw that occurs from time to time. If you haven't already done so, upgraded to firmware1.0.25; if you have, then I'll let our developer associate know.

    Hey Jay,

Thanks for the quick response! I just unplugged all the cables (which is one cable to "internet" and the "power" cable) from the back of the wrv200. I then waited ~4 min to be sure and plugged first, the "power" cable; waited for the wireless light to start blinking and then plugged in the "internet" cable.

I enabled the connection in XP and it connected to the network as usual. I then tried to http://192.168.1.1 and I got a 401 error.

I have not upgraded the firmware to 1.0.25; I have only found the 1.0.24 version on this site for download; have it downloaded but haven't updated anything.

You might want to check if you have checked the "Enable Wireless Web Access" option on the Administration web page using a wired connection to WRV200. WRV200 will block the wireless access to the web administrative utility at http://192.168.1.1/ if the option is not enabled.
