I'll start with the problem i'm facing with my router WRV200!

I downloaded a new firmware from the official site of linksys (LINK)

than I assigned on the router as admiin (through cable) and as the instructions says started to upgrade firmware! (Administrator>Firmware upgrade)

In e few sec (1-2sec) the explorer desplays THE PAGE CANNOT BE DESPLAYED!!!

So the router doesn't want to upgrade the firmware or, i don't know maybe it is because of the computer!

So i need a little help with this problem!

    Thank you in advance.

P.S. now i have firmware version 1.0.13EU and i wanted to upgrade it to the one mentioned above (v1.0.24).

The page cannot be displayed message is normal, since during the uprade you will not be able to browse any web page ( unless it is cached) I think the router reboot afterwards. You should not try to refresh the web page anyway if you are upgrading from the web browser. I would reset the router to factory default and then try the upgrade the firmware again.

Well. In my case the browser (IE 5.5) is displaying the download progress on the status bar, while downloading. After that it reboots itself, and displays the usual reboot screen. But no 404, for sure.

This kind of error appeares to me, when the LAN address of the router was changed. Because, reboot procedure does not redirect browser to the new IP.
