I was curious if someone could let me know if I am mising anything. I want to be able to access a couple files on an external drive at my small office when at home. I have a WRV200 with a static IP at work and a WRT54GS with a dynamic IP at home. I have installed QuickVPN on my home computer and I have set up a "client access" user name and password. In theory, all I need to do is fill out the needed info on the QuickVPN and it should connect, correct? Do I need to configure anything else on the router (WRV200) to allow access? I read somewhere that HTTPS needs to be enabled, is that true? I am running the lastest beta firmware in the WRV200 and the latest beta QuickVPN software. The router is configured for a static IP. Do I need to do anything with IPsec for it to work properly?

    Thank you!

All you should need is just to enter a username, followed by a password. Quickvpn does not require any additional configuration. Furthermore, you don't need to enable https because that is what's required on the RV0XX models to connect (at least it's required for the RV042 if I remember correctly).

Is the WRV200 the only router at your small office or is it behind another NAT router?
