    Hi everyone,
Ok here is what I’m trying to do. I have Sonicwall 3060 at would with a static IP address. At my home I have Comcast as my ISP and they want my first born to get a static IP address. Now I have setup Sonicwall (TZ 170W DHCP) to Sonicwall (3060) and it works. The only trick there is for the DHCP Sonicwall (my TZ 170W) you have to set the Security Policy name to the Serial Number of the DHCP Sonicwall (my TZ 170W).
Now when I try to setup my WRV200 and start my VPN up I’m unable to connect. :frown: And when I look at my log on my Sonicwall 3060 I see the error is “Header verification failedâ€. Anyone know how to get around this. :wall:

is that a VPN behind a NAT DHCP router setup you have?

If so, you'll have to enable NAT-T on the WRV200. It can then be set to receive a connection from a vpn endpoint that is behind another router.

I will have to check and see if the Comcast modem is NATing. I didn't think it was. But I have been wrong before.

sorry, don't know much about your setup. Plus I'm a newbie. If the firewall is interfering you'll have to figure out how. Cable modems usually won't NAT unless it's a network device with multiple Ethernet plugs in the back usually. do you have a static IP on both ends, or are you using some sort of DDNS? looks like for anyone to really know where the breakdown is you'll have to post the connection logs of both sides. but I'm not great at reading those yet.

Most cable modems now adays can nat, now I am not familiar with that error on the sonic wall but what does the log on the wrv200 show?
