Had all problems mentioned with the WiFi dropping after an hour or so, etc etc. Even after upgrading to Firmware Version: 1.0.39. But I noticed other WiFi devices had no problem losing connections. Updated the Intel driver from Dell for my PC. I used patch R155386 (google that number) to update my "Inter Pro/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection" driver. After updating everything works like a charm. So it seems all problems mentioned over the entire Internet are related to Intel and not to Linksys. (I do not use VPN, just the WiFi access). (I also tried updating to an even newer 2200BG driver from Intel. That was not a good idea, as I could not get a connection at all, but - again - the R155386 from Dell was perfect, so I suggest using the manu drivers). Looking up the properties, my current Intel driver (the one that came with the Dell patch) is 18.104.22.168 of Feb 8, 2007.
