I think I've finally gotten my router setup running well after a little trial and error. My VPN works with the Quick VPN and I'm able to get to what I need while I'm away from home.

The question I have has to do with the IPS system vs. an ACL rule. I've had 1000+ instances of DOS attacks on my router in the past week and I was wondering if there is any advantage to using an ACL rule versus letting the IPS do its thing??

Here's the list of my top 5 attackers:
    No IP Address Frequency
    1 417
    2 210
    3 52
    4 48
    5 32

Most of these appear to be from China, So I don't care about blocking any of them.

Hi, I just bought two of these routers (v1.1 hardware version) used and see that you mention that you are running VPN client connections fine. Could you please tell us what firmware you are using?
