    Hiya,

I have a WRVS4400N that I want to use for its VPN features. I do not need to talk about the VPN stuff yet simply cause Im unsure why I cant even use the router in the configuration.

First off I have a T1 and a full class C. I am hard coding this routers wan port to

Wan 206.137.16.40 (which is not currently in use on my network.)

    LAn side (dhcp) 192.168.1.x

now if i attempt to ping the router at 206.137.16.40 on the same network from 206.137.16.20 I get unreachable sometimes and sometimes i dont. plugging a laptop into one of the ports on the router allows me to use the internet just fine. I also disabled the firewall features of the router.

Set the router for DHCP just for a moment and see if you have functionality...
