  1. Hi I need :help:

Something strange has happened to my router. About a week ago I could no longer get a wireless connection for my Playstation 3. I of course believed this to be the normal issue where a reboot is needed after a while since the DHCP just gives up.

To my surprise a reboot did not fix the problem so I looked into it. Now my PS3 can no longer connect to the AP at all!

    • Scanning for wireless do not show my AP (yes, SSID broadcasting is enabled).
    • No difference for open or secure wireless.
    • Manually setting SSID and IP adress on the PS3 does not work.
    • Wired connection works (both DHCP and static).

I have tried with the following firmware versions
    • 1.1.08-ETSI
    • 1.01.03-ETSI
    • 1.0.16 (using the recovery tool)
but none works. To me it seems as the wireless is just gone, broke or in any other way just not there.

Anyone else with the same experience? Any tips, hints or other information on how to debug this?

Any information at all is welcome.
