    Hello,

I am having trouble connecting to the internet using my Wireless USB adapter. I have been using this current setup for over a year and it has worked great besides the now and again slow connection. although, just this past week i have not been able to connect to the internet more or less even connect to the access point. i use the program where you go and select your setting enter your WEP and then hit connect and it connects you or should i say sometimes connects you. i have tried everything in my power i have restarted my computer, i have restarted my modem, and my wireless access point. When i select my setting for my access point the blue light ,that usually blinks when its working fine, seems to just not blink and stay in a less bright blue color and stay lit up for about 5 seconds then it just doesnt do anything and says you cannot be connected. that is what happens when i try to use my first access point. when i try to use my other access point i get The blue screen saying an exception OE has occured at 0028:D21BB653 in VxD---,This was called from 0028:D21BB000 in VxD---, Then i hit enter and it gives me another one saying " A fatal exception 06 has occured at 17C7:00000A39.The current application will be terminated." Then i hit enter and get another one saying "a fatal exception OE has occured at 0028:C002B797 in VxD N(T or I) NT(I)KERN(01) + 00009B9B. The current application will be terminated." Then i hit enter and get another blue screen saying" A fatal exception OD has occured 0000:016FOBDB. The current application will be terminated." Then finally i get a blue screen saying" A fatal exception OD has occured at 16C7:016F78FA. The current application will be terminated. So thats what happens. and after that i have to restart.

i Have also tried using another adaptor the same kind but another one and it too does the same thing.

My current setup on that desktop is running WIN 98SE.

if anyone can tell me what all those blue screens mean or what my problem is and or anything all support is appreciated greatly. mind you im typing this on my sisters computer where the internet actually works.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

P.S sorry for the poor grammer i am trying to hurry this up.

No specific solution but I'd suggest getting the most recent drivers from here, then completely uninstalling all the software/drivers related to your wireless NIC and then installing the ones you downloaded.

    Good luck.
