I've set up the wireless router and camera and all works well except I have no idea how to access the camera from the internet?

I know what my IP address to the outside world is from the status screen on the router management software and I can use this to manage the router but although I can see the camer image internally using the 192.168.x.x address, what is its external world IP address?

you need to forward some ports to the camera you can stick it in the dmz or get the appropriate ports to it's internal ip..

Thanks for this but it doesn't seem to work. Regarding port forwarding, I set that up with the correct port (1024) set to TCP and ticked the enable box but this does not work.

I have now put it's internal IP address in the DMZ but how do I access from the outside world. My Router has an external IP address which I can get to from the Web but this just gives me access to the Router admin screen - how do I go from that to the camera screen?

you should be able to access it from the outide the same way you do from the inside just substituting the internal ip for the external IP...
are you getting the interface of the router or the interface of the camera?

You are absolutely right - it appears that it doesn't work because I have been testing it from inside the network - it works just fine from outside the network!

    Thanks for your help
