What is the URL to pull a Motion Jpeg (MJPEG) out of the cam?

    ie; for ASF: http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/img/video.asf

but for mjpeg it appears to be /img/mjpeg.xxx there is reference in the source html for mjpeg and jpg.

    Thanks!

When I go to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/img/mjpeg.cgi through internet explorer, I get a stream of data, however, it is not played. With FireFox, I get a popup to open the stream, but don't have any player that supports it.

    Kind regards,

I use a PVC 2300 and the mjpeg url is:
    http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/img/video.mjpeg

However Internet Explorer will only display the first Jpeg, it will not stream it..

Apparently Netscape or Firefox (i cant remember which one.) is the only browser with inbuilt plugin to play mjpeg properly.

If you end up getting it working, let me know.

Old thread, but for those interested, I got this working with firmware V1.21:

To switch the camera into MJPG mode:
    http://camIP/adm/file.cgi?h_v_mode=jpeg&todo=save

Then access the (non-compliant?/funny) MJPEG stream:
    http://camIP/img/mjpeg.cgi?Speed=x

where x seems to be the framerate.

For Motion users, apply the WVC200 patch, and access the stream as
    mjpg://camIP:80/img/mjpeg.cgi?Speed=x

[ Not tested, but I would think to get the MPEG4 stream again you would do:
    http://camIP/adm/file.cgi?h_v_mode=mpeg&todo=save ]
