Yellow (unreadable) text on Mac OS Safari?

    Greetings --

When viewing this site using Safari on Mac OS X, the message text (not headlines) is yellow. Very difficult to read.

Is the text color configurable? Text is black with other browsers, but Safari is my primary browser. Text is black from IE 6 on Windows.

    Thanks,

    John

sounds like something is wrong with your safari. if text is black with other browsers then the problem is with Safari.

text color can be changed. but is set to black as default. so if i change the color to suit you it wont suit anyone else.

    I suggest you use firefox.

Thanks for the quick reply -- I didn't mean to imply that you should make a global change -- I was wondering if text color happened to be a user specific changable item, like the site "skin."

I'd agree that Safari seems to be the odd man out. I just wondered if others have seen it, and what the preferred workaround might be.

Firefox is a wonderful browser - I agree.

I've gotten this report from a few Safari users, but not all of them. We are looking into it, but for the meantime check out the new theme available in 'Your Account'.

I am also planning on getting a Mac mini so I can check out site on more platforms for compatability.

If anyone is still having problems, let us know.
