    Hi.
    My current network is looking like this:

    internet-modem -> dlink 614+ -> linux router(pc) -> switch -> wap54g
    ...................................................................................................................... -> other computers

    I want to make it like this:

    internet-modem -> dlink 614+ -> WRT54GL ---> wap54g -> linux router
    ................................................................................-> other computers

    So before i buy the WRT54GL router, will this work? :unsure: :unsure: :unsure: :unsure: :unsure:

    Questions:
    -Which links are wired and which are wireless? Specifcally, how is the D-Link DI-614+ and the WRT54GL connected?
    -Also, is the WRT54GL running with stock firmware or 3rd party? If the latter which?
    -It might also be helpful to understand what IP address(es) and subnet mask(s) are being used.

    Hi.
    I allready have bought the router, so now it is all about getting it to work. I hope.
    All are wired exept between the wrt and the wap. Connection from the dlink to the wap is from lan port on dlink to the wan port on the wrt. But i can change that. I would prefer to have a subnet under the wrt.

    Stock or 3rd party... hmmm. What do you reccomend???

    dlink router is 192.168.174.1 255.255.255.0
    wrt router should be 192.168.1.10 255.255.255.0 since i already have a mail server on 192.168.1.1. (but i can change that)
