I have two WAP54Gs connected in Bridge mode that are about 500 feet apart. I get a signal but is weak (Most likely because there is not a great line of sight due to some trees...)

Installed are the on both WAP54s are the -5.5dbi Omni-Directional antennas that you can purchase from radioshack.

This setup was done before I started working here... so I am looking improve the signal strength.

I was going to try updating the firmware first.

The next step would I wanted to try is install some outdoor antennas which could connect to each WAP...

I need some assistance with antenna selection... since line of sight is not great what do you guys recommend?

    Thanks for all your help

parabolic or grid antennas (with indoor installation too) will make the link stable, normally this antennas are big, so better if you mount them outdoor.
